Javier Muñoz Carrillo: First-hand presentation of cutting-edge clinical trial results in breast cancer research at SABCS24
Javier Muñoz Carrillo, Medicine student at University of Barcelona, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last week, I had the privilege of attending the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) 2024, where I had the chance to learn about the latest innovations and witness the first-hand presentation of cutting-edge clinical trial results in breast cancer research.
I was also honored to present a poster featuring data from the last 10 years from our center on the incidence of breast cancer in young women aged ≤40 (P2-12-13).
I am deeply grateful to the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS) for giving me this incredible opportunity as a fifth-year resident.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to my mentors, Aleix Prat MD, PhD, Montse Muñoz, and Maria Vidal, as well as the entire breast cancer team, for their guidance and support throughout this journey.
