Beaumont RCSI Cancer Centre PsychOncology Team Recognized with HSE Excellence24 Award

Jarushka Naidoo, Professor at The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, shared on X:

“Very proud of Beaumont RCSI Cancer Centre PsychOncology team on their HSE Excellence24 Award.

This team was the first established countrywide, and forms the blueprint for national psychology services in cancer.

Well done Vicky Lunt, Jennifer Fennell and all.”

The Health Service Excellence Awards provide a valuable platform to highlight and celebrate the outstanding contributions made by teams across the health service.

These awards recognize projects that make a tangible, lasting impact on health and social services, whether by improving patient access, delivering higher-quality care, or fostering pride among staff.

The initiative encourages shared learning by showcasing award-winning success stories that can inspire other teams.

Open to all staff in the public health system—both HSE and non-HSE—these awards encompass a wide range of services, from clinical and primary care to support functions like catering, security, and clerical management.
