The Max Foundation posted the following on LinkedIn:

“One of the significant barriers to accessing treatment for women with advanced breast cancer in low- and middle-income countries is a lack of biopsy needles for diagnostics. Without these essential tools, many women are unable to receive the timely and accurate diagnoses they need.

We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generous donation from our partner organization BD, we now have biopsy needles required to make a difference. We plan to distribute the first shipment in Mozambique, Cambodia, and Bhutan soon, where it will help countless women get the care they deserve.”
