Important ad hoc analysis of JCOG 0802 for local recurrence

Elliot Servais, Associate Professor of Surgery, UMass Chan Medical School, Tufts University School of Medicine, shared a post by Stephen V Liu on X, adding:

“Very important ad hoc analysis of JCOG 0802 for local recurrence. LR matters to patients! LR means additional invasive diagnostic & therapeutic procedures and anxiety.

Critical to incorporate these data into patient-centric, individualized NSCLC treatment plans.”

Quoting Stephen V Liu:

Analysis of locoregional relapse after segmentectomy in JCOG0802 JTO & JTO CRR. Multivariable analysis associates pure-solid on thin-section CT (OR 3.23), margin < tumor size (OR 2.68), & male sex (OR 2.09) with LR.

Trend in left lingular segment site.”
