Duku Dudes where are you?
Dukutober is a trademark – Breast Health Awareness Initiative of the Zambian Cancer Society (ZCS) that promotes early diagnosis and patient support. It is a combination of the words “duku” (headwrap) and Tober which is October aka DukuTober (breast cancer awareness month).
We also encourage you to wear a duku (headwrap) to show solidarity for the many cancer patients who lose their hair during chemotherapy treatment.
Join us as we celebrate 5 years of Dukutober.”
