Highlights from Concordia24 by Elisabeth Staudinger

”When global experts who are dedicated to improving healthcare access for everyone, everywhere get together in one place, things get exciting!
This was certainly the case at Concordia24, held alongside UN General Assembly. There were so many highlights, but here are a few:
- Participating in a fireside chat with Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu and Felicia Marie Knaul talking about how innovative technologies like data-driven healthcare are empowering women and reshaping the future of health equity.
- Meeting my fellow board members of the World Economic Forum’s Global Alliance for Women’s Health and seeing some 20 leaders become part of our newly launched Community of Champions. The Champions from across the world will play a critical role in advocating for the shaping of policies, encouraging innovation, and unlocking investments for women’s health.
- Speaking to Bloomberg Radio about chronic diseases, which account for 3 out of 5 deaths worldwide, and how we can manage them better through early detection and digitalization.
It really was a privilege to collaborate with people from different organizations to raise awareness around the many healthcare challenges we face today. By joining forces, we can build a more equitable future for all.”
