Hermann Einsele received the Ken Anderson Translational Research Award from Myeloma Society
Hermann Einsele, MD, FRCP, is a physician in the Department of Internal Medicine II at the University of Würzburg Hospital in Germany, where he also serves as the department director and Vice-President of the University.
An expert in multiple myeloma, stem cell transplantation, and infections in immunocompromised patients, his research focuses on adoptive immunotherapy and invasive aspergillosis in hematological and oncological patients.
Hermann Einsele has been named the Ken Anderson Translational Research Awardee.
The Ken Anderson Basic and Translational Research Award was created by the IMS to recognize Professor Ken Anderson’s significant contributions to bench-to-bedside translational research. This award honors an investigator for their excellence in translational research in the field of myeloma.
