Dr. Alejandro Aballay is the Dean of the MD Anderson UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Previously, he served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Molecular Microbiology & Immunology at Oregon Health and Science University and was the Director of the Center for Host-Microbial Interactions (CHoMI) at Duke University School of Medicine.
Dr. Aballay’s work focuses on the interactions between hosts and microbes and the immune responses that mediate these processes.
