“Dear Colleagues and Friends,
I am honored to announce my participation as a Co-Chair and Speaker at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, from 13 to 17 September 2024. This prestigious event will gather our global oncology community to exchange ideas, debate translational cancer science, and discuss groundbreaking data that can change clinical practices.
I will co-chair an educational session titled ‘Improving the assessment of citizens’ perception of risk’ alongside the esteemed Christine Chomienne from Paris. During this session, I will present on the role of social media in enhancing public awareness and engagement in cancer prevention an area I am passionate about.
We will be joined by Jerome Foucaud from Paris, who will discuss ‘Lessons from France’s Cancer Barometers,’ and Dafydd Gareth Evans from Manchester, who will explore the ‘Socio-psychological impact and implementation issues.’
