The North America Rare Disease Summit brings together leading researchers, healthcare professionals, patient advocates, policymakers, industry experts, and rare disease patients and families. The summit emphasizes the power of collaboration and solidarity in facing rare diseases.
Barbara Van Hare is the President of Pattern.org and a Director at the Rare Cancer Research Foundation (RCRF). She leads patient advocacy efforts and institutional partnerships at RCRF and manages tissue collection for Pattern.org.
Barbara also consults for the Cancer Cell Line Factory at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She actively participates in the Rare Disease Diversity Coalition, NORD’s Rare Cancer Coalition, and the Sarcoma Coalition’s Advisory Panel. Before joining RCRF, Barbara spent 30 years in management roles at Hallmark Cards.
