Dr. Daniel Boffa is the Division Chief of Thoracic Surgery and the Clinical Director at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in esophageal and lung cancer, achalasia, gastroesophageal reflux disease, hiatal hernia, esophageal diverticulum, and hyperhidrosis. He previously held positions at the University of Chicago and the Cleveland Clinic. His research interests include improving surgical outcomes and developing minimally invasive techniques for thoracic surgery.
