“This. I have known these two since they were in different elementary schools. In middle school, Emily raised enough money to pick a Rally grant to fund. She picked a leukemia grant. In high school, Peyton was diagnosed with leukemia (Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and relapsed. She went on a clinical trial that resulted from the grant Emily chose. Today, they are working at same hospital. Emily as a Child Life Specialist and Peyton as a Registered Nurse!
Grateful for these two! And my heart overflows that they sent this to me this morning as I am headed to D.C. for meetings and to advocate for more federal funding.”
