At ESMO Breast we witnessed the true power of co-creation and cross-functional collaboration – Nana Scotto

Another great week closes for the whole of the Breast Cancer community following the ESMO Breast annual congress in Berlin.

It was great to see the wealth of data on show verifying the incredible progress we have all made in having a positive impact on patient care and quality of life. The ground breaking data and research presented re-instates the community’s intent in reshaping every single sub-type of breast cancer, viewing this as a multi-faceted disease.

At ESMO Breast we witnessed the true power of co-creation and cross-functional collaboration. In attendance were the brightest minds within the clinical community, including speakers at the top of their fields, key patient associations and our industry colleagues.

As some of you may know, ESMO Breast is in its 4th year as a stand-alone event, having originally started to give the ex-US community a primary forum to share and discuss ground-breaking data. I remember attending the first event in 2019 and I am thrilled at how this event has scaled into a key date in the clinical community calendar.

I personally recognise the efforts from the entire community to ensure that ESMO Breast delivers ground-breaking data which helps shape the treatment paradigm impacting our patients not only on the continent but around the world.
