Andreas Charalambous: Achieving digital transformation in cancer care across Europe
Andreas Charalambous, Chair of the Department of Nursing at the Cyprus University of Technology, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper he co-authored with colleagues published in Journal of Cancer Policy:
“New Publication Alert from EU4HEALTH TRANSiTION Project.
We are excited to announce a new publication from the TRANSiTION consortium that sheds light on the Digital Transition/Transformation within the cancer context as part of the EU Cancer Plan and beyond.
This paper encapsulates a recommendations scheme for digital transition in oncology through healthcare professionals’ and health managers’ digital training. Four levels of recommendations arisen from the current study and include actions in the following areas:
- policy,
- education
- clinical practice and
- research.”
