“This year marks Sanofi’s 40 year global anniversary of partnership within the transplant community!
I was thrilled to join our global team, external medical researchers, healthcare providers and advocates last week in Lyon, France to celebrate how far we’ve come.
Through lively discussions and workshops with experts in the field, we explored the many new horizons that are fast approaching in transplantation.
At our inaugural Transplant Policy Exchange Forum we also shared best practices between the United States and European Union countries to collectively improve transplantation.
In the US specifically, we know we are at a pivotal point in history for policy action and change in our transplant system. While there are many challenges there are even more opportunities for impactful solutions aimed at increasing organ utilization while maximizing outcomes for patients.
We look forward to publishing the recommendations of the forum at a later date.
