Partha Basu, Head of the Early Detection, Prevention and Infections Branch at the International Agency for Research on Cancer/World Health Organization, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The long wait is over. The JNCI Monograph dedicated to a single dose of HPV vaccine is out! The entire monograph is freely available.
Two articles (Malviet al and Man et al) are reporting data from the IARC single dose study in India.”

Dr. Partha Basu is Head of the Early Detection, Prevention, and Infections Branch at the International Agency for Research on Cancer/World Health Organization (IARC/WHO) in France. He holds an MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a post-doctoral fellowship in Gynecological Oncology, and a PhD in Clinical Oncology.
Before joining IARC in 2015, he led the Department of Gynecological Oncology at the National Cancer Institute in India. Dr. Basu’s research is primarily focused on cervical cancer prevention, endorsement of a single dose of the HPV vaccine, and the recommendation of thermal ablation for treating cervical precancers.
