Amy Moore: Ensuring that all patients benefit from recent scientific advances in lung cancer
Amy Moore, Vice President of Global Engagement and Patient Partnerships at LUNGevity Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent paper by Oluwaseun Ayoade et al. published in JTO Clinical and Research Reports:
“We still have a long way to go to ensure that all patients benefit from recent scientific advances in lung cancer. This study found that overall survival increased by 71% in patients with private insurance compared to only 24% in the uninsured here in the US. What about globally, especially those in LMIC?”
