The new platform can modify the RNA of cells, boosts the cells’ ability to target tumors – Cancer Research Institute (CRI)

”According to a study from Stanford University researchers, cell therapies for cancer can be potentially enhanced using a CRISPR RNA-editing platform.
The new platform, Multiplexed Effector Guide Arrays (MEGA), can modify the RNA of cells, allowing researchers to regulate immune cell metabolism in a way that boosts the cells’ ability to target tumors.
Although MEGA is still in its early stages, researchers hope that it will eventually be applied in clinical settings. Learn more.”
