
Whole-Body MRI Scans on Multiple Myeloma Patients Can Detect Tiny Traces of Cancer in the Bone Marrow – ICR
The Institute of Cancer Research shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Christina Messiou et. al published in Blood Cancer Journal:
“A new study has shown that whole-body MRI scans on multiple myeloma patients can detect tiny traces of cancer in the bone marrow following treatment.
This provides clinicians with crucial insights into how well patients are responding to treatment and whether they might relapse in the future.”
