“The Thanksgiving holiday is a time to reflect on all the things for which we are thankful.
This year, I’m incredibly thankful for the dedicated people of SCAN and our affiliates who go above and beyond every single day for the people we serve.
They approach their work with a boldness and courage and passion that is unrivaled in healthcare.
This morning, I’m thinking of:
- our Healthcare in Action street medicine staff that provide care to society’s most vulnerable: the unhoused.
- our Welcome Health, Embrace, and Home Base Medical clinical teams that provide world-class dare and service to patients in their homes.
- our SCAN Health Plan Rebels who find a way to make a very complicated healthcare system simple for patients every single day.
Wishing everyone a very happy Thanksgiving holiday full of togetherness with family and loved ones.”
