“A lung cancer diagnosis can come out of the blue. So how do you navigate this and get involved in patient advocacy?
Here, Dusty Donaldson, a trailblazer lung cancer patient advocate who got started 19 years ago after her own diagnosis, shares how she spotted a small gap at her own cancer centre because there were no materials for patients. This prompted her to start volunteering there and things took off from there.
