Dégi László Csaba: Addressing disparities affecting LGBTIQ people in cancer care across Europe

Dégi László CsabaPresident of the European Cancer Organisation, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I’m delighted to speak today at the 5th Annual LGBTIQ+ Cancer Conference in London about the European Cancer Organization’s work on addressing disparities affecting LGBTIQ+ people in cancer care across Europe.

European Cancer Organisation is committed to overcoming these challenges. We believe that everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or sex characteristics, deserves access to quality cancer care.”

European Cancer Organisation shared this post, adding:

“Our work on LGBTIQ and Cancer is a high priority for our whole European Cancer community, including our President Dr. Dégi László Csaba, Inequalities Network Co-Chair Nicolò Matteo Luca Battisti Worksteam Co-Chair Stewart O’Callaghan and CEO Mike Morrissey.

Today Csaba gave a brilliant, well-received presentation to an important London conference on the topic and there will be more on the launch of an important survey at the European Cancer Summit in Brussels on 20-21 November.

Dr. Dégi László Csaba serves as the President of the European Cancer Organisation and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes (OECI). He is also an expert for the CCI4EU project and a board member for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at COM’ON CLUJ NEXT.
