“Haramaya University’s Dr. Ali Birra Cancer Treatment Center had the privilege of hosting the Ethiopian Society of Hematology and Oncology-ESHO this week. The ESHO members traveled miles to visit the center and were impressed by the advancements made in cancer care in eastern Ethiopia.
The center, named after the renowned Ethiopian musician Dr. Ali Birra, has been operational for the past five years and has been serving the eastern part of the country well.
The ESHO members engaged in experience-sharing sessions with the dedicated team at the center, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the visit.
