“American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2024 May 31-June 4th is now in our experience and mine this year has been one of gratitude and humbling.

Not only have we witnessed amazing therapeutic strides and progress and paradigm shifting drugs delivering benefit once thought unimaginable…but we have also seen – in a very clear and intentional way – a commitment to remembering what oncology is all about, what medicine is all about – reconnecting to the essence of our patients and their experience.

We are remembering what doctoring truly means.

ASCO message this year was: ‘ FROM COMFORT TO CURE’, we are embracing the both/and approach of Art and Science, for they are one of the same. This year at ASCO we saw these moments captured in photos. Please take a second to reflect on them and see what these words bring up in you, what do they mean to you, and your patients….
