“I recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in a masterclass called ‘Tubelss Uniportal VATS’ at the world’s leading Thoracic Scientific Center in Guangzhou. I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Alan Sihoe and Prof. Shuben Li for extending their invitation to me. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary!
Throughout the masterclass, we had a packed agenda that included hands-on animal experiments and the chance to observe and take part in human surgeries using the most advanced techniques uVATS uRATS niVATS implemented by the scientific center. One of the standout technologies we encountered was the Shurui Robot, an exceptional single-port surgical robot that offers maneuverability for complex procedures with reduced effort.
Special thanks go to the Director of the National Center of Respiratory Medicine, Prof. Jianxing He, and Shuben Li, for being exceptional hosts, along with world-renowned field expert Dr. Diego Gonzalez Rivas. Personally, getting to know their 3Dsurgery technology without glasses and innovative lung reconstruction software, which resembled a hologram, was a remarkable experience.
