“Empowering Native Communities- American Indian Cancer Foundation’s (AICAF’s) Response to the Updated U.S. Preventative Services Task Force Breast Cancer Screening Recommendation:
The USPSTF (U.S. Preventative Services Task Force) recently finalized their breast cancer screening recommendation, officially stating that all women be screened for breast cancer every other year beginning at 40 years old. At AICAF, we are committed to advocating for our community’s unique needs within these recommendations.
