“The 2025 edition of the WECAN training wrapped up last week in Rome! Aspiring advocates from across Europe came together to learn, connect, and grow as the next generation of patient advocates.
CCI Europe was proud to see representatives from our member organisations take part in this important training, which is designed to equip them with the skills needed to continue advocating for the childhood cancer community.
At CCI Europe, we believe patient advocates are essential. Why? Because patient advocates act on behalf of the patient community and in the best interest of them to raise awareness, push for policy change, educate the public, and collaborate with research community. Patient advocates are at the heart of what we do and a driving force in achieving our mission.
