Improving How the New Health Technology Assessment Regulation is Put Into Practice – CCI Europe
Childhood Cancer International-Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Every child deserves equal access to new medicines, no matter where they live, and as early as possible. Yesterday, CCI-Europe participated in another interesting meeting of the HTA Stakeholder Group, a forum led by the European Commission. The forum is focused on improving how the new Health Technology Assessment (HTA) regulation is put into practice.
Since January 2025, every time a new drug enters the european market, CCI- Europe is tasked to identify individual patients (parents, survivors) with a lived experience of a certain type of childhood cancer. These individuals’ role in this process is crucial, as they will have the opportunity to voice the concerns, specificities and experiences of our community.
Would you be interested in joining these discussions, exchanging best practices in health technology assessments and helping identify key indicators for a successful patient involvement? Learn more about the HTA .”
