“ICCD 2025 Event Highlights – Speakers’ Quote Series.
Day 4 of the ICCD 2025 throwback! On 4 February 2025, the ICCD policy event brought together key voices at the European Parliament. Hosted and organised by MEP Andras Kulja (European People’s Party, Hungary) with the participation of SIOP Europe, the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE) and Childhood Cancer International – Europe, the event explored potential solutions to overcome barriers in accessing cross-border care and research in paediatric oncology.
Today’s impactful words come from Nicole Scobie, Patient Advocate, Chair of ACCELERATE Multi-Stakeholder Platform, CCI-E and ITCC Consortium Committee Member, who reminded us why access to research is a matter of life and death for children with cancer.
