It has been a great pleasure to attend the SIOP Asia XV Annual Congress held on May 18-21, 2023 in Yerevan, Armenia. The congress brought in the world’s best paediatric oncology community together to share the latest research results, ideas, and developments in all areas of paediatric oncology and haematology.
It was indeed a privilege meeting leading academic scientists, researchers, students and scholars in the domain of interest from around the world in the beautiful host country, Armenia, contributing to a world where no child should die of cancer!
The congress was held under the slogan “Per Aspera Ad Astra” – “Through hardships to the stars.” This distinguished medical event was very special as this was the key to enhance my career as an International Speaker-Ambassador and establish new acquaintances.
SIOP Asia’s mission is to promote high-quality cancer care for children and adolescents. This organization is committed to increasing childhood cancer awareness, diagnosis, and treatment.
Armenia, a mountainous country located between Europe and Asia, has a rich history and cultural heritage and is renowned as one of the oldest Christian nations in the world. With its beautiful landscapes, flavoursome cuisine, hospitable atmosphere, and ancient culture, Armenia stood out as a unique destination and a wholesome experience for me. Thankful to all.
