Wafaa Rashed: PAPERI expands its impact – introducing Policy Briefs
Wafaa Rashed, Chair and Founder of PAPERI, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“PAPERI Expands Its Impact: Introducing Policy Briefs!
Since its launch, PAPERI has been dedicated to fostering discussions on population genomics, precision medicine, and policy through our blog series. Now, we are taking a bold step forward!
In addition to blogs, PAPERI will now develop Policy Briefs – concise, evidence-based documents designed to inform policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders on critical issues in genomics, health policy, and development.
Why Policy Briefs?
Policy briefs help bridge the gap between research and decision-making, providing actionable recommendations for impactful change. With this new initiative, PAPERI aims to support evidence-based policymaking in genomics across Africa and beyond.
Our first policy brief will focus on – Guess what?? Stay tuned to find out… and get ready for more briefs tackling genomics, ethics, and public health!
We invite you to join us on this journey! Let’s drive meaningful policy conversations and shape the future of genomics and public health together.”
