“At Cancer Support Community, our mission is to ensure that everyone impacted by cancer is empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Navigating cancer treatment is a complex journey that goes beyond physical challenges – it involves emotional, financial, and logistical hurdles, making personalized, patient-centered care essential every step of the way.
I am excited to announce I’ll be participating in the 2025 Cervical Cancer Survivor Summit, hosted by Cervivor, Inc. from January 23-26. This event brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates to inspire hope, resilience, and collective action.
I will be speaking on a panel moderated by Morgan Newman, MSW about the unseen costs of navigating medical debt and financial toxicity and how these challenges impact patients and their families.
