Mainak Bardhan: National Childhood Cancer Registry Data Platform launched by NCI
Mainak Bardhan, Doctoral Researcher at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, shared a post on X:
“Explore the National Childhood Cancer Registry Data Platform launched by NCI.
It is the nation’s first resource linking childhood, adolescent, and young adult records across population-based Cancer registries and real-world data partners.
This secure cloud system links data records for the same person across different sources and consolidates them in one place.
All NCCR data have been de-identified.
The platform makes de-identified data easy to search, request, visualize, and analyze in a secure cloud system.
The Data Platform provides a variety of comprehensive data for people initially diagnosed with cancer between the ages of 0 and 39.
As of Fall 2024, the NCCR Data Platform links the data from 7 Sources.”
