Douglas Flora: My first-ever Light The Night Walk
Douglas Flora posted on LinkedIn:
“What a powerful night at my first-ever Light The Night Walk – The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I can’t believe it took me this long to attend—hundreds of cancer community events under my belt (four just this week!), and yet tonight moved me in ways I didn’t expect. This was one of the most genuine, heartfelt displays of community and family I’ve ever seen.
Trust me: find this event in YOUR city. Bring the kids, bring the dog—it’s something you need to experience live. A huge thank you to Abbie Ochsner for sharing this incredible night with me. She worked so hard to support this campaign. Next year, St. Elizabeth Healthcare will be there in FULL force—everyone involved in cancer care should get to experience this wonderful event
Special shoutout to Allison Rogers, our incredible emcee. Your genuine emotion was felt by all of us tonight, and it made the evening that much more special. And Kate Schroder, your dad would be beaming with pride.”
