Danijela Dohnal-Suvajac: Reflecting on the importance of multidisciplinary care at EONS
Danijela Dohnal-Suvajac, Head of Department with Quality Management Experience at Lower Austria Regional Health Agency, posted the following on LinkedIn:
“Reflecting on the importance of multidisciplinary care at the EONS Workshop!
Just wrapped up an insightful session at the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS) 17 Industry Sponsored Workshop on managing ADC-related adverse events. My key takeaways? The critical role of multidisciplinary care, the need for better education and training for nurses, and the importance of patient empowerment through involvement in their own care.
A big thank you to my fellow presenters Dr. Cristina Saura, Maria Lapuente, and Prof. Andreas Charalambous for sharing their knowledge and insights. It was an honor to present alongside you!
As nurses, we are often the first to notice adverse events and provide crucial emotional and psychosocial support. This shows how vital it is to ensure that all healthcare professionals involved in cancer care are fully equipped and supported.
And of course, a huge thank you to AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo for enabling these valuable conversations!”
