Carmen Monge-Montero: Patrick Yip’s Journey and Global Cancer Survivor Connections
Carmen Monge-Montero posted on LinkedIn:
“Hi MANOs!
Today marks the beginning of International Childhood Cancer Month, a time to raise awareness and support for young cancer patients and survivors.
We are excited to share our latest interview with Patrick Yip from Hong Kong. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma at about 10 years old, Patrick talks about his experience with cancer in Hong Kong and his work since then.
He also shares his involvement with organizations that help cancer patients and survivors. His story and insights about living with cancer are very valuable.
Mano began as my personal project four years ago to connect with cancer survivors across Latin America. After talking with survivors from every country in that region, we decided to expand globally. We started with Spanish interviews, and now we are also doing them in English, including Patrick’s, to reach and connect with more people worldwide. Stay tuned for more stories!
Thank you, Patrick, for being part of our interview!
