Nina Fuller-Shavel: Delighted to announce the launch of our new integrative oncology project

“I am delighted to announce the launch of our new integrative oncology project, aiming to build a 46 acre health regenerating ecosystem for people impacted by cancer across all ages and the full cancer care continuum – from cancer risk reduction and post-diagnosis care through to survivorship and living well with cancer.

Our plan for the site includes an organic food and medicinal herb farm and a cutting edge integrative oncology outpatient centre that will house the evolution of Synthesis Clinic and a new integrative oncology charity to help expand access (watch this space!).

The plan is to seamlessly blend clinical integrative oncology, research and training on-site, with clinical care encompassing everything from a day chemotherapy and infusion unit, imaging, radiotherapy and lab diagnostics to integrative oncology consultations, nutrition, exercise oncology and physiotherapy, psychological support, yoga therapy, modulated electrohyperthermia and much more!

The team and I are immensely excited about this new vision, and we are looking forward to getting stuck in and gaining local planning support.”

Nina Fuller-Shavel is the Co-Chair of the Education Committee at the British Society for Integrative Oncology (BSIO) and a Co-Founder and Director of Oncio. She also serves as the Director and Head of Integrative Cancer Care, Precision Health, and Integrative Medicine at Synthesis Clinic. Her work focuses on integrative oncology, with a strong emphasis on clinical integrative oncology and precision health research. She actively presents at national and international conferences and contributes to guideline development.
