“After completing her fellowship under Dr. Francis Hornicek, Dr. Brooke Crawford maintained a strong professional bond with him through several moves and nearly 10 years. Now reunited at Sylvester, Dr. Crawford, Division Chief of Orthopaedic Oncology, describes the mentorship as invaluable.
Dr. Hornicek believes mentoring is a two-way street. ‘Now I mentor Brooke and Brooke mentors residents,’ Dr. Hornicek said. ‘We build an interdependency.
