“I have known Chris Bakal and his team for almost 5 years, and his lab is the recipient of our Terry Fox Run UK fundraising. So all the money raised in the UK, stays in the UK.

In getting to know Chris and all his team, they are the most intelligent, motivated, and fun group of researchers you could ever meet – and I’m sure their team culture is because of the great leadership Chris provides. Chris Bakal has led a team at The Institute of Cancer Research since 2009, focusing on the biological mechanisms that cause cells to change shape, become cancerous, and metastasize. From 2006 to 2009, he was affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School from 2004 to 2009.
