“Today, I’m joining my fourth clinical trial since my cancer diagnosis 9 years ago.                      .

I have a lot to say with just a few words. We were two who should have been part of this trial. Unfortunately, one was excluded from the trial due one reason.

It’s quite painful because as an advocate for the black and brown community, trying to increase our numbers in clinical trial participation, this shouldn’t be happening at all and we must do a better job to stop excluding black and brown communities.

Your eligibility criteria should be inclusive.

For over 10 years, the numbers have been the same.
