“The reality is that lung cancer isn’t just one illness. Everybody has a completely different disease, and they have a completely different immune system that has seen different viruses and bacteria throughout their life.

Because of that, we’re never going to have a one-size-fits-all immunotherapy treatment for patients, ‘explains CRI Clinical Innovator Dr. Thomas Marron of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, ‘but we are slowly moving to a world in which we will have a more personalized approach…where we’ll be identifying up-front which patients will respond best to which therapies.’
