“Children’s Call for Hope
International Conference for Collaboration in Pediatric Oncology – 2024, March, 20th

Why am I here? I often ask myself this question during moments of introspection.

Our Romanian guests from Iași, Cluj, Timișoara, Craiova, Constanța, Bacău, Târgu Mureș, Brașov, București, and international guests from France, the Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Bulgaria, Jordan, the US, almost all physicians and nurses, were encouraged to ponder this question and provide their own answers. Our distinguished speakers, sponsors, event moderators, my colleagues, all reflected at the same question.

What is your commitment for 2024? What will you do to save a child with cancer?

We all gathered there to envision a world where every child receives the life-saving treatment they deserve. A treatment that we would all hope to receive if we were in a hospital in Romania. We were all present to initiate a collaboration that will bring hope into the lives of our children.
