“We can accelerate research progress in the fight against cancer by uniting globally. This was the message of today’s inaugural CureForCancer conference in New York, where I had the honor to represent Susan G. Komen and serve as Chair and Moderator of the session on promoting patient-centric clinical trials. Did you know that the majority of cancer diagnoses are happening in the US and China? Fighting the common enemy of cancer would benefit patients worldwide. A big congratulations to Bob Li of Memorial Sloan Kettering for organizing this and a multitude of other efforts to drive multinational cooperation. A synonym for “tireless” is Dr. Li!”
