Daniel Capitán: I have been awarded the “La Caixa” Foundation INPhINIT Retaining Fellowship
Daniel Capitán, Biomedical scientist at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology, shared a post on X:
“I am thrilled to share that I have been awarded the prestigious ‘La Caixa’ Foundation INPhINIT Retaining Fellowship, which will support my PhD Studies at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) over the next four years.
Very grateful to Laura Soucek, Silvia Casacuberta, Íñigo González Larreategui and the whole LSoucek Lab.”
Daniel Capitán is a biomedical scientist currently pursuing his PhD in Laura Soucek’s lab at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) within the Models of Cancer Therapies group.
Previously, he completed his Master’s thesis at VHIO, studying the effect of concomitant mutations in tumour supressors genes in KRAS-driven NSCLC on MYC inhibition and anti-tumour immune response.
