Katie Coleman: Life after a cancer diagnosis is filled with micro interactions around every corner reminding you of your own mortality.
Katie Coleman, Founder of Chromophobe and Oncocytic Tumor Alliance (COA), made the following post on Twitter:
“After a stage IV cancer diagnosis, no matter how much my situation improves, I still struggle when speaking in terms of years. A simple reminder why, “so you’re good now?” is never quite as simple as it sounds. Life after a cancer diagnosis is filled with micro interactions around every corner reminding you of your own mortality.”
