León joined the City Cancer Challenge initiative

“In León, 140.4 out of every 10,000 people battle cancer, but the city has stepped up by joining the C/Can initiative. Together, 56 healthcare professionals, 11 institutions, and 72 patients came together to identify the key areas for improving access to top-notch cancer care.

This July, during the City Executive Committee meeting, project teams showcased their goals, plans, and the expected impact. All teams demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to improving the quality of cancer care in the city.

A big thank you to Secretaría de Salud de Guanajuato, Instituto Nacional de Cancerología and León Municipio for their support!”
