Oscar Tahuahua, Medical Oncology Fellow at the National Cancer Institute of Mexico, shared a post on X about a paper by published in Cancer Treatment Reviews:
“Triple M (myasthenia+myositis+myocarditis) from ICIs – 38% mortality (50% resp. failure, 41% tox)
ICI neurotoxicity: 0.24% in trials, 2–4% of irAEs; 40–60% lasting deficits, 6–17% mortality
ACT FAST: steroids + intensive cardio-resp. monitoring.”
