Mads Krogsgaard Thomsen: To create long-term solutions in areas affected by protracted humanitarian crisis

“Recently, we announced a new alliance between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and three Danish foundations with the purpose of creating sustainable solutions for vulnerable populations in Africa through multisectoral collaborations.
As part of this initiative, Novo Nordisk Foundation, The LEGO Foundation and Grundfos Foundation | PDJF are happy to launch a partnership with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency that will be leading a concerted effort in Northern Kenya to make refugees and host communities more resilient through access to inclusive quality services within health, education and water.
The ambition is to create other pioneering public-private partnerships through which we can create long-term solutions in areas affected by protracted humanitarian crisis.”
