The first bilateral robotic mastectomy performed at the Beaumont Hospital in Ireland

The breast surgery team, led by Arnie Hill, performed The first bilateral robotic mastectomy in Ireland and the region using the SP Da Vinci robot.
Great day all around.”
Beaumont Hospital, located in Beaumont, Dublin, Ireland, is a major teaching hospital affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Established in 1987, it is part of the RCSI Hospitals group, which operates under the Health Service Executive (HSE).
The hospital provides a wide range of healthcare services, including a fully operational emergency department, and is known for its specialized care in areas such as neurology, cardiology, and oncology.
With 820 beds, Beaumont is one of the largest hospitals in Ireland, offering both inpatient and outpatient services. It also serves as a key training center for medical students and healthcare professionals, working closely with academic institutions like Dublin City University.
Additionally, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Raheny is managed by the Beaumont Hospital Board.
