ESMO

ESMO Course in Medical Oncology for Medical Students will be held from July 25-29, 2025 at Valencia, Spain.

The ESMO Course in Medical Oncology for Medical Students is designed to inspire medical students to pursue a career in oncology. Organized by leading experts in collaboration with the ESMO Young Oncologists Committee, the course offers an interactive educational experience to engage students in the fast-evolving field of medical oncology. The program aims to provide foundational knowledge in cancer diagnosis, therapy, and molecular tumor definitions, with the ultimate goal of benefiting cancer patients.

The course covers key topics such as cancer diagnosis, staging, prognosis, and therapy, as well as specific cancer types including breast, gastrointestinal, lung, ovarian, and prostate cancers. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops focused on clinical case assessments and gain insight into the multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment. Co-chaired by Andrés Cervantes and Rodrigo Sánchez-Bayona, this program emphasizes the importance of precision medicine in modern oncology.

Application is open until April 15th.
